Nifty tape.

Just stumbled across this awesome tape.  This message tape allows you to black out parts to make letters like on a scrolling digital message board.  Pretty neat!

This is a card that I created for a friend I have not seen in a while.  The supplies I used were from what I had in my scrapbooking stock.  The houndstooth paper was something I bought recent but was skeptical about.  I wasn't sure how it would translate on a card, but I think it turned out awesome.  I was happy with the pop-art look I achieved by adding the bright green  paper and hot pink ribbon.  The brushed edges was a last touch that I feel really pulled together the look.  I hope my friend likes the card ;)

Rare Prints.

I am wayyy digging this new campaign for Ray-Ban's "Rare Prints" line of glasses.  They sure know how to make some crazy, awesome and fresh designs...take a look at this previous post of mine.  Anywho, this new campaign does not fall short.  Not only am I a fan of sunglasses but I think they did a pretty sweet job with this interactive campaign.

Positive +

I was recently exposed to a website called http://positive-posters.com/ by a post in another blog I follow called SWISS MISS.  To be honest I haven't really read too much about the site since I don't care to read much :/ LOL but apparently the site was created by a designer as a non-profit competition for other designers.  The plan was to let designers who are constantly under client restrains in design and outlet their creativity in the poster competition.  Here are just a few of my favorites from the entries:

Fireworks Collage.

Hello and Happy Labor Day!
So today is considered the "end of the summer season" and it usually goes out with a BANG.  So, I thought I would share with you a little fireworks collage I tried out.  I saw something of the sort a few months ago and honestly can't remember if I ended up blogging about it or not...alas - I decided this morning to take a try at it with some of my fireworks photos from the Newtown 4th of July fireworks from the last two years.  It really is quite easy and makes good use of all the little photos that often get over-looked.  I think it came out pretty cool!  Anywho, enjoy your holiday!

Body Paint for Breast Cancer.

Saw THIS post on Designers Couch recently.  Think this ad campaign for Breast Cancer is creative and different!  They ask women - "Are you obsessed with the right things?".

Here are the ads I found:

You're The Best!

Alright, so I have a good sum of cards to start sharing with you.  My 23rd birthday was a few weeks ago and I had an Ah-mazing time.  SO many of my friends were able to make it out and I was so thankful!  I made many "thank you" cards and would like to show you some.  Here is one for today:
