Sixteen Candles.
For anyone who has ever seen the 80's movie Sixteen Candles. I was to create a "storyboard" of 5 illustrations from a movie for my Independent Advanced Illustration project in Illustrator. Through the project I taught myself and explored several illustration techniques in the program as well as the art of color separations. As you can see I chose Sixteen Candles as my movie of choice. Let me know what you think! I haven't turned it in yet but will be later this week!

ReplyDeletethese are really great. Instead of the first one, I'd like to have seen the scene where Long Duck Dong is passed out on the front lawn or where he's dressed in an obi about to jump from the tree.

Your suggestion did cross my mind at one point, however it was a class assignment and we had to choose 5 scenes that alone could tell the most important parts of the plot which is why I chose the ones I did. However, it would be a fun addition to the collection some day and is quite a funny scene!
